Web Financial Group gives the Luzerner Kantonalbank a progressive market data presence with the new market data portal “Stock Exchanges and Markets”
Web Financial Group’s digital framework (SaaS) has been in operation at Luzerner Kantonalbank since February 5, 2021.
The new stock exchange information portal of the Luzerner Kantonalbank AG (LUKB) is based on the digital framework (Software as a Service, SaaS) from Web Financial Group and is supplied with market data from SIX Financial Information. This is the same framework as yourmoney.ch. It is therefore almost identical from the structure to the individual overviews and functions.
When it comes to stock market data, however, the two market data portals differ significantly. At LUKB, customers have access to stock exchange data from the CBOE Exchange for Swiss and European stocks as real-time prices.
The new market data portal of the Luzerner Kantonalbank impresses with its intuitive user guidance and its responsive display, both on the smartphone, on the tablet and on the web.
In addition to the information on stocks, funds, bonds, etc., which all stock exchange platforms make available to their customers, the LUKB offers additional content and options. These include LUKB’s own products, a currency calculator with LUKB foreign exchange rates, LUKB precious metal rates, pre-market data from Bank Julius Baer & Co. AG (8:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.) and a buy and sell button on all securities that can be traded in e-banking at LUKB.
Additional functions are available for registered users, including personal watchlists, alerts (e-mail and SMS) and an intuitive virtual portfolio with different views, news and many other features.
Stefan Lüthy, owner of the project and head of multi-channel management & digitization at LUKB, explains: “It was very important to us that the new market data portal was designed professionally, intuitively and in the responsive design of LUKB and that LUKB can also display its own content. Another goal was to integrate the portal as well as possible into the LUKB world. I think that with the various links from the portal, which lead directly to the corresponding function in e-banking, the customer journey for our customers is distinctive. LUKB has thus taken a further step towards the expansion and further development of the online channels and the investment business in accordance with its «LUKB25» strategy.
“Reto Gualeni, Chief Revenue Officer Germany, Austria and Switzerland of Web Financial Group, says:” Our customers increasingly want to provide digital services to dedicated customer segments and expand their investment business accordingly. Using the “Digital Framework” from Web Financial Group, this is easily possible and the future requirements of the LUKB can also be flexibly incorporated. Thanks to the modular and scalable structure of the Yourmoney banking solution, we were able to adapt this to the LUKB and use economies of scale”.
